Winter weather strikes again

After some snow and ice the skies have cleared. Unfortunatley what cleared the skies was a 20+ mph wind. With a high of 30 coupled with high winds, Velotek has cancelled the New Year's Day ride. Guess I'll be on the trainer (again) tomorrow.

Almost the end of the year

My name is Dan and I am a cyclist in Kansas City. I am currently on the CAT 5 squad of Lawrence, Kansas based GP Velotek. I have several goals for 2008:

1. Win a CAT 5 criterium.
2. Podium finish a time trial
3. Upgrade to a CAT 4 by August

On New Year's Day I plan to ride in Velotek's annual ride at the downtown airport here in KC. From there you can track my training schedule until the official start of the season in March when I will start posting race results.

I believe that this is my year. Through hard work I am looking for results in 2008.
